Writing Center

The Writing Center provides students with the opportunity to have tutorials with writing tutors, fellow students who have taken "Writing Theory," a semester-long graduate-level training course. Students can make an appointment with a writing tutor through WCOnline or can feel free to just walk into the WICC and ask for a tutorial. Tutors can provide help at any stage of the writing process, whether you need help coming up with ideas, streamlining bulky sentences, restructuring a paper's organization, or just putting the finishing touches on a final draft. By emphasizing process and product, tutors hope to help students not only with whatever writing they've brought to a tutorial, but also to develop skills that will improve their writing in the future.

The Writing Center walk-in hours are Sundays through Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:30 pm and 7:00-11:00 pm; and Thursdays 3:30 - 5:30 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
